SAN MARCOS, Texas - Wichita State softball lost its third game in a row and their last game of the Bobcat Classic by dropping their rematch to Texas State, 9-1, on Sunday.

The Shocker offense stayed cold for the second day in a row and were being no hit through the sixth inning.
Madison Perrigan ended the no hit bid by Texas State's Dalilah Barrera with a single in the sixth inning. The only run in the game was scored later the inning off a
Bailey Urban single in the infield that managed to stay fair, which allowed
Sydney McKinney to come home from third.

Bailey Lange (2-4, 5.12 ERA) had a rocky first inning in which she gave up three runs in the first inning, two of them off a home run by Bobcat infielder Hailey MacKay. The redshirt senior smoothed things out in the next three innings and struck out her 350th career batter in the third inning. She ended the game with four strikeouts and currently has 352 in her career.

Lange was moved to right field in the fifth inning and replaced by
Caitlin Bingham (1-0, 3.57 ERA) after giving up four runs. The game ended in the sixth inning after a walk-off two run homer by Tara Oltmann.

The Shockers travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to partake in the Easton Bama Bash from Feb. 21-23 at Rhoads Stadium. The team will face Louisville and Penn State twice and have a matchup with No. 9 Alabama on Feb. 21.
