Head Coach Gregg Marshall on…

…Opening statement
"Wow, we really played well in the first half. We were limiting them to one shot, got them to turn it over a few times. We were tremendous in transition. We got great looks. Dexter was on fire, but we score 50 points in one half which is hard to do, and the game was basically over. We've got to do a better job in the second half of motivating the guys when we were up by 30, but that's a good problem to have. There is no quit in the Tulane team, I've seen that on video. They did a great job adjusting, they were posting, they were driving, and they lived at the free-throw line. The game took forever to get done in the second half. In the end we got the 25-point win, I would've taken it if you would have offered it to me before the game started, so that's number 19."

…getting a win back in The Roundhouse
"I thought the guys were tremendous in transition. They were really running the court and finding each other. Dexter Dennis was dynamite on the offensive glass, shooting the ball, giving us second chance opportunities, running the court, getting dunks, and he made a great wraparound pass to Erik Stevenson at one time which was good to see. He's doing a good job at getting to the heart of the defense. Tyson Etienne really shot it well, especially in the second-half, and we had 22 assists on 29 baskets."

Noah Fernandes' hustle play in the first half
"Love that. He got down on the floor, came up with the loose ball, and that's why he's in there. He's upbeat, and he always has a positive outlook on things. He's handled his business all year long, and he got dealt a terrible hand being out nine weeks when we were starting to play games, so he's had to endure that. I just like the kid. I think he's a wonderful person and I like his positive energy and I like the energy he plays with on the court."

…today's game plan
"The emphasis today at home against to Tulane was to try and wear them down. They've been playing seven guys for the most part, and those seven are playing pretty hard. They're warriors. Today was one of the worst results they have had. They've been in games man and they've won games. They beat Utah, they beat Cincinnati, they won at Temple, which is something that we couldn't do. I wanted to make this an up-and-down affair with an emphasis in energy and transition, (and) getting back and taking them out of their transition which they are very good at, and trying to take easy, quick shots so we didn't have to attack their zone for 40 minutes."

Sophomore guard Dexter Dennis on…

…the team's success today
"It was really really fun. We played a lot of team basketball. I think we executed well in the first half and I think that if we do that more often, we will definitely win more games. I think right now we are just trying to do that as much as we can."

…his career high 21 points
"Right now, I'm just playing. Everyday is just a process for me, I'm not thinking as much, just coming to practice everyday and trying to be one of the hardest working guys there. These guys beside me work hard and we've got a lot of guys in the locker room that work hard. Whatever happens, happens and it worked well for me tonight."

Sophomore guard Jamarius Burton on…

…how different the last two games have been after the team's recent slump
"These last two games we've had a lot of energy and we are feeding off our defense. We're getting more steals and getting back on transition. Just the pace and sharing the all and getting back on transition has been helping us out these last two games."

…building the team's confidence
"We can just take these last few games and build confidence and in our next few games we need to have that same confidence and passion."

Freshman guard Tyson Etienne on…

Noah Fernandes' "play angry" play in the first half
"That's who we are. That's what this program is. It was Noah so that is what made it a little more special. We see how hard he works every single day, and when he gets an opportunity in these moments, he cherishes it. That just electrified the whole team."

…his career high 20 points
"Coach told me yesterday to be me and play my game, and that's what I did. My teammates found me, they kept saying to get open and find those spots and they'll find me. Jamarius Burton did a great job with that. It was the same when we were looking for Dexter (Dennis) in the first half."
