WICHITA, Kan. - The Shockers will begin the dual match portion of the season tomorrow down in Stillwater, Okla. to face Abilene Christian at 2:00 p.m. and host No. 11 Oklahoma State at 6:00 p.m.

With some good showings in the fall tournaments, the Shockers have some momentum heading into the dual matches. The Shockers won four of the six flights at the Tulsa Invitational to close out the fall and senior
Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Central Regionals.

One Shocker pair remains ranked in the latest ITA doubles rankings.
Marta Bellucco and Saidhujaeva came in at No. 53 to remain in the top 60.

Scouting the Competition
Abilene Christian returns five players from last year's squad that won the Southland Conference regular-season title. They won 10 of the 11 conference duals and sophomore Allison Stewart led the team with 16 singles victories and was a perfect 11-0 versus conference foes last season.

The Cowgirls will open up the season ranked No. 11 in the ITA rankings. They also feature three players in the singles rankings, with junior Lisa Marie Rioux leading the pack at No. 16 after winning the ITA Central Region singles bracket. On the doubles side, Oklahoma State has two ranked pairs with the duo of Ayummi Miyamoto and Rioux sitting at No. 17. OSU finished the 2018-19 season with a 21-8 record and went 8-1 in conference play.
