WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State University volleyball team is slated to open its 2019 season with a home exhibition match against the Kansas Jayhawks Saturday, Aug. 17, at 3 p.m. inside Charles Koch Arena.
 
The first 1,000 fans through the doors will receive a Wichita State volleyball schedule magnet.
 
Single-match tickets for the contest are now on sale online at GoShockers.com/tickets, by phone at (316) 978-FANS, or at the WSU athletics ticket office, located in Charles Koch Arena at the intersection of Hillside and 21st streets.
 
Season tickets for all 2019 volleyball season home matches are also available, and fans that purchase a season ticket package receive the KU match FREE as part of the package.
 
In addition to the KU contest, WSU is scheduled to host 11 other home matches in 2019, including non-conference matchups vs. BYU, VCU and Texas, and eight American Athletic Conference matches.
 
Wichita State volleyball is also hosting its annual auction and dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Aetna Multi-Purpose Facility at Charles Koch Arena. Tickets are available by contacting the WSU ticket office.
