WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State student-athletes
Murkel Dellien and
Marius Frosa have been named to the American Athletic Conference all-conference team, the conference office announced Thursday afternoon.

The men's team consists of six singles players and three doubles tandems, based on ITA rankings.

Frosa and Dellien, who reached as high as No. 25 in the ITA Rankings, paired up for the first time on March 17 and reeled off nine straight wins as a duo. The two currently rank No. 35 in the latest ITA/Oracle Rankings and hold wins over three ranked duos. Their lone loss came in a thrilling tiebreaker to No. 18-ranked Trey Hilderbrand and Bogdan Pavel of UCF in the semifinals of the American Athletic Conference Championship in Orlando.

The honors mark the first for the Wichita State men's team in their second season in the American Athletic Conference.
