Sandra Honigova was named Mizzou Invite Champion in the Gold Flight, going 2-0 over the weekend. No. 14 ranked
Marta Bellucco and
Fatima Bizhukova went 2-0 to win the Gold Flight in doubles.Â

WSU started the day taking on Memphis in doubles action, where they collected two victories. Bizhukova and Bellucco dropped Alisha Reayer and Aleksandra Toplovic (6-0) and
Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva and
Sandra Honigova defeated Katherine Cao and Claire Sullivan, 6-4.

Laura Bente and Hannah Davies took down
Alexandra Lazarova and
Ting-Ya Hsu, 6-0 to end doubles play.

Saidhujaeva got the Shockers on the board first in singles play, taking down Vivien Abraham of Mizzou, 7-5, 6-4. Lazarova took on Gabrielle Goldin, winning in a match tiebreak (7-6, 3-6, 1-0 (3). Hsu was defeated in straight sets to Taylor Gruber (6-4, 6-2), while Bellucco retired due to injury in the second set against Ellie Wright.
