WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State-Kansas State baseball game scheduled for Wednesday, May 2 in Manhattan, Kan., has been canceled due to the threat of inclement weather.
 
The game will not be made up.
 
The Shockers are next in action this weekend, May 4-6, against Cincinnati at Eck Stadium. Friday's game is at 6 p.m., Saturday's at 2 p.m. and Sunday's at 10:30 a.m.
 
Friday, May 4 is Star Wars Night. The first 500 fans through the gate will receive a lightsaber to help celebrate May the 4th Be With You. Fans will have the opportunity to take photos with different Star Wars characters and there will also be coloring stations for kids. Video and audio clips from Star Wars movies will be featured before and during the game.
 
Sunday, May 6 is Bark in the Park. Wichita State has teamed up with Sydney's Pet Resort, Pet Supplies Plus and the Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita for the third annual event. There will be tons of giveaways, goody bags and fun contests throughout the event. Click here for more information and for the waiver.
