DALLAS - The Wichita State women's tennis team put together seven total wins on day two of the SMU Red and Blue Challenge Saturday.
 
In doubles, the Shockers took on both Tulsa and Wyoming and in singles faced off against Wyoming. No. 14 ranked Bizhukova and Bellucco went 1-1 on the day, knocking off Koonik and Van der ploeg (6-1), who rank No. 60. The Shocker duo fell to Tulsa's Okalova and Ploner, 6-3.
 
Elsewhere, Ting-Ya Hsu teamed with Sandra Honigova to defeat Matoula and Poppe of Tulsa and the Golden Hurricane duo of Hopton and Muelenberg dropped Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva and Alexandra Lazarova. Saidhujaeva and Hsu defeated the Wyoming duo of Krausse and Kaftanova, 6-4.
 
WSU went head to head with Wyoming in singles action, collecting four total wins. Senior Sandra Honigova recorded her second win of the weekend over Van der ploeg, 6-1, 6-0. Bellucco won a third set tiebreaker match over Koonik (5-7, 6-1, 10-7) while Hsu fell to Oreshkina in three, (4-6, 6-0, 6-1). Saidhujaeva won over Fernandez (6-2, 6-7, 7-5) and Lazarova won a close one over Ana Rojo (6-2, 7-5) to wrap up action for the Shockers.
 
The Shockers will finish play at the SMU Red and Blue Challenge tomorrow with matches against SMU.
