WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State University volleyball team fell to North Texas, 3-1, in the 2018 regular season finale on Saturday, Nov. 24, inside Charles Koch Arena. The set scores were 20-25, 25-20, 22-25 and 19-25.
Wichita State ends the regular season with an overall record of 13-17, while North Texas improves to 17-16. The match also marked the final regular season contest for Wichita State seniors

Meghan Grimes and
Jordan Roberts.
Tabitha Brown led the Shockers, tallying her team-best 10th double-double of the season with 18 kills and 10 digs. Brown also hit a team-high .421 in the match with just two errors.
Regan Stiawalt added a career-high 16 kills and hit .279, while
Kora Kauling had a team-best 39 assists and
Giorgia Civita added a team-high 18 digs.
Valerie Valerian led the Mean Green, hitting .361 with a match-high 25 kills, while Karley York posted a match-best 52 assists. Barbara Teakell added a match-high five blocks, respectively.
North Texas outhit Wichita State, .322 to .272, and had eight team blocks compared to only five for WSU. The Mean Green also posted a 6-2 advantage in service aces in the contest.
