WICHITA, Kan. – No. 25 Wichita State hit .412 on the way to a 3-0 win over USF. The Shockers (11-3, 3-0) won by scores of 25-15, 25-17, and 25-10.
Senior setter
Emily Hiebert recorded a double-double with 11 kills, 35 assists, and seven digs.
Abbie Lehman and
Tabitha Brown also had 11 kills each, while
Giorgia Civita had 15 digs.
SET 1:
•Wichita State ended the set with two-straight points, winning 25-15
• The Shockers raced out to a 6-1 lead behind the serving of Civita
• A kill from
Tabitha Brown pushed the lead to 14-6
• USF used a 4-0 run to pull within 22-15, but the Shockers scored the final three points for the 25-15 win
• USF hit .065 in the set, WSU hit .343
•Hiebert hit .800 with nine assists and four kills
•USF struggled to create offense, hitting just .065 with eight attacking errors
SET 2:
• Wichita State won the set 25-17 after seven lead changes
• The set went back and forth until a 5-0 Shocker run put WSU up 14-9
• A Brown kill gave WSU the 22-15 lead and a
Mikaela Raudsepp kill gave WSU the 25-17 win
• Hiebert posted 15 assists
• Brown led all scorers with six kills, Lehman and
Emma Wright had four each

• The Shockers won the set in convincing fashion, 25-10 over the Bulls
• A 9-0 run behind the serving of Civita gave WSU an 11-3 lead
• Back-to-back service aces from
Kara Bown increased the lead to 20-7 and WSU used a Brown kill for the 25-10 win
• Wichita State hit .412 for the set, USF hit .110
