MVC Release

WICHITA, Kan. – Five Wichita State baseball student-athletes have earned all-Missouri Valley Conference honors as announced by the league office on May 23.
 
Sophomore third baseman Alec Bohm and senior starting pitcher Zach Lewis earned first team honors, while sophomore first baseman Greyson Jenista was named to the second team. Junior shortstop Trey Vickers and freshman catcher Noah Croft were named honorable mention.
 
It is the third all-Valley honor for Vickers who earned first team honors in 2016 and honorable mention honors in 2015. It is the second honor for both Bohm and Jenista as they were named to the second team in 2016.
 
Jenista was also named to the All-Defensive Team at first base.
