WICHITA, Kan. -- The Wichita State women's tennis team will face North Texas on Sunday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at the Waranch Tennis Complex.
The Shockers (6-7) snapped a three-match losing streak with a win over No. 43 SMU back on Friday. The win marked the first ranked victory for WSU this season. In singles play, No. 117

Gabriela Porubin lost, but WSU picked up wins in the other four flights - plus the doubles point - to get the win.
North Texas (5-8) is coming off a 5-2 loss to No. 22 TCU. Maria Kononova is currently No. 82 in the Oracle/ITA singles ranks for the Mean Green. In the doubles ranks, Kononova and Tamuna Kutubidze are currently listed at No. 77 nationally.
Last year, No. 34 Wichita State topped North Texas 6-1 in Wichita.
