WICHITA, Kan. -- The No. 35 Wichita State women's tennis team will travel to Lincoln, Neb. to face 10-0 Nebraska on Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Dillon Tennis Center at 11 a.m.
Despite being undefeated, Nebraska in unranked, and does not feature any ranked players. The Huskers have only surrendered three points so far this season. Vasanti Shinde (15-9) and Katerina Matysova (14-7) lead the Huskers in singles play, while Mary Hanna and Shinde are 17-4 in doubles competition.
The Shockers (5-4) - ranked No. 35 according to Oracle/ITA - are coming off a 4-0 sweep of South Alabama on Friday, Feb. 24.
Tanaporn Thongsing leads the team with an 18-6 record in singles play, while
Giulia Guidetti is 16-7, and a week removed from a No. 113 national ranking.
Last year, No. 32 Wichita State defeated Nebraska 6-1 on Feb. 13 in Lincoln. The Huskers currently lead the all-time series record at 18-13.
