CINCINNATI, Ohio – No. 20 Wichita State pushed its winning streak to 16 with a 3-0 win at Cincinnati. The Shockers (24-3, 16-0) won by scores of 25-10, 25-22 and 25-20.
Abbie Lehman led the Shockers with 12 kills and nine blocks and hit .400.
Emily Hiebert had 32 assists and
Giorgia Civita had 14 digs.
During the match, Lehman collected her 500
th career block, while Hiebert collected her 100
th career service ace.
SET 1:
• WSU hit .409 to take a 25-10 win
• The Shockers raced out to a quick 5-1 lead
• Kills from Brown and Koon increased the lead to 12-6
• The Shockers finished the set on a 4-0 run for a 25-10 win

SET 2:
• WSU held off UC for a 25-22 win
• Two-straight Brown kills gave WSU a 7-4 lead
• A Lehman kill pushed the Shocker lead to 15-9 and a Wright/Raudsepp block made the score 19-13
• The Bearcats pulled to within 21-18 on back-to-back kills and forced a WSU timeout
• After a Bearcat block made the score 21-19, Lehman's kill put the Shockers up three at 22-19
• UC pulled within two at 22-20, but WSU held off the Bearcats in a 25-22 win
SET 3:
• The Shockers trailed early, but rallied for a 25-20 win in the third set
• The set went back and forth until the Bearcats used a 4-0 run to go in front 8-4
• Two kills and a service ace increased the UC lead to 12-6 before the Shockers answered with three-straight to cut the lead to 12-9
• Three-straight Shocker blocks cut the lead to 13-12 and a Lehman service ace tied the score at 14
• Three-straight Bearcat errors put the Shockers up 17-14 and WSU used three blocks in the last four points for a 25-20 win
