WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State women's tennis team, now ranked 22nd in this week's Oracle/ITA Division I rankings, plays host to No. 48 Texas-Arlington on Thursday afternoon
WSU (17-3) plays its next three matches at home. Barring a weather-related change, all will take place outdoors at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.
The Shockers have won a school-record 28-straight at home, dating back to March of 2013.
After playing 19 matches in the first 51 days of its spring season, WSU enjoyed some downtime. Aside from a March 14 neutral site dual against Kansas State during the team's spring break training trip to the west coast, WSU has been idle since March 5.
The Shockers lead the all-time series with Texas-Arlington 4-1 with wins in 2012, 13 and 14. Last year's schedule match in Arlington was canceled due to weather. UTA's lone victory in the series came in 2011 at the Wichita Country Club.
