STILLWATER, Okla. -- The Wichita State women's tennis team, ranked 34th nationally, fell 6-1 on Saturday afternoon at No. 10 Oklahoma State.

Giulia Guidetti made short work of OSU's Maria Alvarez to extend her winning streak to 10 matches and improve to 19-4 on the year.

Gabriela Porubin won her first set against No. 46 Viktoriya Lushkova but dropped the second set in a tiebreaker and the match in a superset tiebreaker.
"Giulia got us on the board quickly again, and we were competitive across the board in the first sets," WSU head coach,
Colin Foster said. "Even with only converting two first set, we dug in and made the Cowgirls earn the win, which they most definitely did. They've got a top-5 caliber team and experiences and opportunities like this one are what you play for."
