Jennifer Kaczka (Women's Basketball, 1998-02)Jennifer Kaczka helped lead Wichita State to its first postseason appearances en route to a stellar playing career that included three first team all-conference honors...Kaczka was the first at WSU to post 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds at the the end of her career, and was voted to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Centennial Team in 2007, making her one of the top 35 players in league history as voted on by fans...Her record-setting .647 shooting percentage in 1998-99 helped lead the Shockers to the WNIT, the first postseason appearance by a Shocker women's basketball team in school history... Kaczka ranks second on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,557 points, and is WSU's all-time leader with 111 career starts...Known for her versatility, she set the single-season three-point field goal percentage record in 2001-02 with a .420 percentage from beyond the arc en route to 477 points that season, a mark that still ranks as the fifth-most points in a season at WSU...She was just the second player in school history to earn three first team all-conference accolades, and was a first team MVC Scholar-Athlete honoree in 2002...She is just one of two Shocker players to ever earn MVC All-Tournament Team honors, and was named to the MVC All-Defensive Team in 2002...Kaczka is a native of Highland, Ind., and attended Highland High School...
