Marc Bluma (Baseball, 1996-99)

A multiple-time All-American, Marc Bluma finished his career as the WSU career saves record holder with 44 from 1996-99...He also holds the second-most in a WSU season with 17 in 1999...Named first-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball Insider in 1999, as well as second-team by Baseball America in 1998...Also named third-team All-American by the NCBWA and ABCA in 1998...Named third-team by Collegiate Baseball and NCBWA in 1999...An excellent student as well, he was named first-team Academic All-American in 1998 and second-team in 1999...He was Missouri Valley Conference pitcher of the year in 1998, as well as a three-time All-Valley first team selection, and three-time All-Valley academic selection...At the end of his career, he was also ranked fifth in season ERA with a 1.74 in 1998, and still held three of the top 10 WSU season saves total...His 1998 ERA of 1.74 ranked sixth in the country...He was named a Collegiate Baseball First-Team Freshman All-American in 1996...Drafted in the 13th-round by the Toronto Blue Jays following his career at WSU...Bluma came to WSU from Owasso, Okla...Inducted, 2006.
