One of the top collegiate tennis players in the nation during her career....Qualified for the NCAA championships in singles and doubles competition in 1984 and in doubles in 1985...She won four consecutive conference titles at the No. 1 singles position...She was the first WSU women's tennis player to win an NCAA/ITCA sponsored event when she captured the singles championship at the 1983 ITCA Central Region Indoor tournament...Compiled a career singles record of 129-62...Also was a four-time conference champion at the No. 1 doubles... Teamed with Jill Braendle to form one of the nation's top doubles teams in 1984 and '85...They were ranked by the USTA as the nation's No. 1 doubles team in 1985. She and braendle won their first match in the 1985 NCAA doubles competition before losing to the eventual national-champion team from Stanford... Compiled a career 131-44 doubles record.
