All-American his final two years as he led the Shockers to NCAA Tournament appearances in 1963-64 and 1964-65 seasons. All-MVC as a Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. Holds nine school records, including highest career scoring average with 24.2 points per game and most points in one game, 46. Following his record-setting pace at WSU, he played professional basketball (NBA) for seven years with the New York Knicks and Baltimore Bullets. Charter Inductee, 1979.
