Kelly Pete was first team all-Missouri Valley Conference and Wichita Eagle Most Valuable Player for the 1964-65 season and completed his career as the fourth-leading scorer in school history...Pete was a key member of 1964-65 Final Four squad averaging 17.3 points and seven rebounds...Had 31 points against Southern Methodist during the Shocker run to the Final Four...Also member of 1963-64 Midwest Regional Runner-up team...During his three year career, WSU went 61-25 (.709)...Currently ranks 19th all-time in career points with 1,169. Inducted, 2007.
