Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Justin Paulsen's RBI single in the bottom of the 10th gave No. 14 Missouri State a 3-2 win in game three of the series.
Daniel Kihle went 2-for-4 with two RBI for the Shockers, while Ryan Tinkham went 2-for-5.
Starter Jeb Bargfeldt went six innings and gave up two runs on seven hits with one walk and two strikeouts.
Jake Burger led off the second inning with a single for the Bears and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. Justin Paulsen followed with a single to centerfield to drive in Burger and give the Bears an early 1-0 lead.
MSU added to the lead in the fourth. With one out, Paulsen singled and he scored on a double from Eduardo Castro to put the Bears up 2-0.
Trey Vickers walked with one out in the seventh and Daniel Kihle homered to left field to tie the score at two.
Eric Cheray led off the 10th with a single and Spencer Johnson was hit by a pitch. After a fielder's choice, Blake Graham walked to load the bases. Paulsen singled to right field to drive in the winning run for the 3-2 score.
The Shockers are next in action on Tue., May 5 when they host Kansas State at 6:30 p.m. at Eck Stadium.
