WICHITA, Kan. – The public is invited to Charles Koch Arena for a Season Ticket Tip-Off event offering fans the opportunity to purchase 2013-14 Shocker men's basketball season tickets 4-7 p.m., Tues., Aug. 13, Director of Athletics Eric Sexton announced today. Wichita State staff will be present to discuss the approximately 430 seating options with fans. 

 “The Season Ticket Tip-Off is an exciting event that we invite the community to be a part of something special, and that's Shocker Basketball,” Sexton said.  “We have made a strategic decision not to increase ticket prices this year, hoping our community engages with our sport programs, and supports these fine student-athletes and coaches.We have seats available, and we hope you will come watch us.”

Wichita State will also continue to offer unique ticket options, such as the “X-Men” plan which includes all seats in row 34 for only $234 in honor of Wichita State great and National Collegiate Basketball Hall-of-Fame inductee, Xavier McDaniel, as well as the Recent Graduate Program, in which any fan who has graduated from college within the past four years, is eligible for a discounted season ticket and SASO contribution.

Fans interested in purchasing Shocker volleyball or Shocker women's basketball season tickets will be able to do so at this time as well.
