WICHITA - Wichita State (11-9, 4-0) split their two matches against Bradley and SMU on Saturday at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.

In the first match that started at noon the Shockers blanked the Braves, 7-0 to improve their conference record to 4-0.  In the second match of the day the No. 32 Mustangs defeated the Shocks, 5-2.

"Our doubles play has improved a lot this year," head coach Colin Foster said.  "Montse and Vero played a nationally ranked from SMU and came up just short and that was definitely an opportunity that if we could of capitalized on it we could of put a lot more pressure on them in the singles.  Tomorrow is a big match against Illinois State if we keep playing well and competing like we did today we will have a good result tomorrow."

Wichita State will host their final home match of the season on Sunday when they take on Illinois State at 10 a.m.
