WICHITA, Kan. - The Shockers rolled through a quick three sets as they swept the visiting Bradley Braves on Friday night at Charles Koch Arena.

In the opening set, freshman Emily Adney poured on four kills  in the first nine points to help build the early 9-6 Shocker lead. Bradley rallied back, using a pair of aces to even the score at 14. Again Adney stepped up, this time with a kill that gave the Shockers the cushion they needed, 19-16.  Senior Kim Wadsworth laced a couple of kills to propel the Shockers toward a first-set victory, 25-20.

Back-to-back Bradley errors and a pair of kills from Wadsworth sparked a Shocker rally that resulted in a 14-5 lead to start the second set. Wadsworth landed an ace that senior Emily Stockman followed up with a kill to put the set out of reach. A block finished off the quick set, 25-8.

Running on all cylinders, the Shockers again jumped out to a commanding lead they would not surrender in the third and final set. Junior Sarah McGee climbed into the offensive mix with three quick kills to help the home team get out to a 10-4 lead. McGee and Wadsworth each knocked down another kill to surge ahead 22-10 before a series of Bradley errors finished the match, 25-12.

Stockman led the Shocker offense with 13 kills and an impressive .500 hitting percentage. McGee, Adney and Wadsworth each tallied nine kills as WSU hit over

.500 on Friday night.

The Shockers are next in action on Sat., Nov. 14 against No. 22 UNI.  The match begins at 7 p.m. with Senior Night beginning at 6:50 p.m.
