WICHITA, Kan. ? Wichita State baseball student-athletes
Rob Musgrave and
Conor Gillaspie were named All-Americans by Baseball America. Musgrave was named to the first team, while Gillaspie was named to the second team.
Musgrave, a senior starting pitcher from Carbondale, Kan., went 12-1 with a 2.51 ERA, six complete games, three shutouts and 101 strikeouts. He is the first Shocker to make the first team on Baseball America's All-America team since Braden Looper in 1996.
Gillaspie, a junior third baseman from Omaha, Neb., hit .419 with 71 runs, 98 hits, 16 doubles, eight triples, 11 home runs, 82 RBI and 16 stolen bases.
