WICHITA, Kan. ? Wichita State baseball student-athletes
Conor Gillaspie and Anthony Capra earned All-America honors. Gillaspie earned second team honors at third
base from Rivals.com and Ping! Baseball, while Capra earned third team honors
as a starting pitcher from Ping! Baseball.
Gillaspie, a junior from Omaha, Neb., hit .419 with 71
runs, 98 hits, 16 doubles, eight triples, 11 home runs, 82 RBI and 16 stolen
bases. Capra, a junior from Arvada,
Colo., went 9-1 with a 3.54 ERA and 90 strikeouts.
