three-pointer from the top of the key by Clevin Hannah, but a layup and
three-pointer on consecutive possessions by Alan Voskuil helped build a 9-6

be their only lead of the game....
After another Voskuil three moved the TTU lead to six,
Hannah answered again with a jumper from the elbow to bring the score to 16-12
with eight minutes to play. But, back-to-back Red Raider buckets pushed lead to
20-12 at the under-eight media timeout.

back-to-back layups to continue to hold off the Shocker charge.

the first eight points of the half before Texas Tech scored to make the score

with 10:54 to play.
A 6-0 Shocker run on a layup from Reggie Chamberlain and two
buckets from Hawkins cut the deficit to 10, 60-50, at the 7:05 mark, but TTU momentarily
halted the Shocker run with a drive-and-dish finish. A J.T. Durley layup and a
three by Chamberlain further cut into the deficit, bringing it to seven, 64-57.
Two more baskets by Hawkins, a three and a layup, sandwiched
around a Voskuil jumper cut the lead to four with 3:09 to play, 66-62. The
Shockers kept battling and got a tough, contested three from Hannah and another
finish in the lane from Hawkins to tie the score for just 10 seconds until TTU
answered with a layup with 1:03 to make the score 69-67.
