Box Score WICHITA, Kan.? The No. 14 Shockers made quick work of the Sycamores of Indiana State with a sweep Saturday night, 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.
A quick final set completed Wichita State's (16-0, 5-0) sweep, and continued the team's undefeated season. A kill by Indiana State junior Kirstin Hunt put the Sycamores ahead 1-0. They would not lead for the remainder of the evening. A potent combination of Shocker defense and Sycamore miscues paved the way for the 25-12 victory.

Sarah McGee kept the offensive pace for the Shockers in the deciding set, but Indiana State chipped in 14 errors to help seal its own fate. The Sycamores ended the match hitting -.082, while the home team hit .295. Back-to-back kills from sophomore

A 2-1 lead was the last time the Sycamores held the advantage in the opening set. A McGee kill paired with an Indiana State error split the first set wide open, 20-10, before Wichita State sealed the deal, 25-12. The Shockers held the Sycamores to a -.031 hitting percentage, while McGee led the Shockers, hitting .714 with five kills in the first set.

Katie Niggemeyer led the evening's offensive charge for the Shockers with 10 and seven kills, respectively. McGee shined on the defensive front as well with six blocks.
