Shocks Ranked 20th by Baseball America

WICHITA, Kan. ? The Wichita State baseball team is ranked 20^th in the Baseball America preseason top-25 poll announced on Jan. 22. It is the sixth preseason poll that the Shockers have been ranked in. The others include ninth by Collegiate Baseball, 12^th by PingBaseball.com, 18^th by Rivals.com, 10^th by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and 12^th by PG Crosschecker.

The Shockers return 18 lettermen and six starters to a team that went 53-22 in 2007. Wichita State opens the season on Feb. 22 against Fordham.
