Box Score NORMAL, Ill. ? The Shockers won their first Missouri
Valley Conference road match of the season with a sweep of
Illinois
State
(10-4, 2-1).

(9-4, 2-1) won by scores of 30-21, 30-26 and 30-28.
Emily Stockman led the Shockers with 17 kills and also
added nine digs. Abby Harsh
chipped in a double-double with 43 assists and 10 digs, while Kelly
Broussard added 30 digs.
The Shockers hit .372 in game one en route to a 30-21
win. Emily Stockman had six
kills in the game, while Katie Niggemeyer added five. Abby Harsh dished out 15 assists
and Kelly Broussard had eight digs in the game.
WSU fell behind 15-22 in game two, but finished on
a 15-4 run to take a 30-26 win.
Game three had the Shockers in front by as many as 10, but
the Redbirds came all the way back to tie it 24. WSU then won six of the next 10 points to take a 30-28
win.
The Shockers next play at
Indiana
State
at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
