WICHITA, Kan. ? The Wichita State volleyball program will be hosting its annual Little Spikers and Junior Spikers clinics in 2008. All of the clinics will be held in Charles Koch Arena.
The Little Spikers program is for boys and girls ages 5-11 (up through 5th grade). Children will be taught volleyball basics by WSU coaches and players. The clinics are 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Oct. 4, Oct. 18, Oct. 25, and Nov. 8. The $20 fee includes four clinics, getting into the match for free on the days of the clinics, plus the match on Fri., Sept. 19 against Missouri State and a Little Spikers T-shirt. All matches are at 7 p.m.
The Junior Spikers program is for boys and girls in 6th-8th grades. The Junior Spikers are the official ball retrievers for the Shocker volleyball team and get into every home match for free and will receive a Junior Spikers T-shirt. In addition, the $20 fee includes two clinics, Aug. 26 and Oct. 15 from 6-7:30 p.m., which will be put on by the WSU coaching staff and players.
