Attended McKinney North High School in McKinney, Texas…Lettered three years in baseball and three years in football…In 2015, named a Perfect Game honorable mention All-American and first team all-region…Two-time district Pitcher of the Year…McKinney High School Mayor Award for baseball…Two-time first team all-district selection for baseball and football…Named an all-state and district academic scholar…Career ERA of 1.01 with a 28-4 record…During senior season, struck out 78…As a freshman, named junior varsity Pitcher of the Year...During junior season, went 10-1 with a 0.60 ERA with 102 strikeouts in 80 innings…As a sophomore, went 9-1 with a 1.34 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 63 innings...According to Perfect Game, ranked in the top 500 nationally, the No. 102 left-handed pitcher, the No. 8 LHP in the state of Texas and the No. 127 player in Texas.
