"Coming into the year I had two main goals, to break the school record and to be First Team All-American, thankfully I was able to achieve both of those goals. I knew coming into nationals I had a good chance of placing in the top-5, but sometimes you can't put it all together for a big throw. Overall, I am happy with making First Team All-American."
True finishes his junior campaign as American Athletic Conference champion, school record holder and now First Team All-American. He continues his throwing season competing at the USATF Outdoor Championships on June, 23 in Sacramento, Calif.
