CLEARWATER, Fla. – Wichita State baseball student-athlete Liam Eddy has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the week of May 14-20.
 
Eddy, a freshman right-handed pitcher from Brighton, Colo., earned an 8-4 win in game two of the series at Memphis.
 
He pitched five shutout innings of relief and allowed just two hits with one walk and five strikeouts. He retired the first nine batters he faced.
 
Eddy and the Shockers are next in action on Wednesday, May 23 when they face No. 2 seed USF in the American Athletic Conference Championship in Clearwater, Fla. First pitch is 10 a.m. CT.
