WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State baseball student-athlete Greyson Jenista has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the week of May 7-13.
 
Jenista, a junior first baseman and outfielder from Eudora, Kan., led the Shockers to a three-win week by going 9-for-20 (.450) with eight runs, two doubles, two home runs, eight RBI, five walks and a stolen base in five games last week.
 
In the win over Oral Roberts on Tuesday, he was 1-for-4 and in the midweek win over South Dakota State he was 2-for-3 with three RBI, a double, a home run and two walks. In Friday's run-rule win over No. 22 USF, he finished 4-for-5 with four runs, two RBI, a home run, a walk and a stolen base and in the finale he went 2-for-3 with two runs, three RBI, a double, two walks and a hit by pitch.
 
Jenista and the Shockers are back in action on Tue., May 15 for the home finale against Kansas State at 6 p.m. at Eck Stadium. The Shockers wrap up the regular-season May 17-19 at Memphis before heading to Clearwater, Fla., for the American Athletic Conference Tournament May 22-27.
