WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State baseball student-athlete Luke Ritter has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the week of April 23-29.
 
Ritter, a junior outfielder from Overland Park, Kan., went 7-for-17 (.412) with five runs, one double, two home runs, eight RBI, two walks and a sacrifice fly in four games last week. He had a hit in all four games to push his career-best hitting streak to 17 games.
 
In Tuesday's win at Kansas, he went 3-for-5 with a career-high five RBI. He also had two runs, a double and a home run. In game one against UCF, he went 1-for-4 with two runs and in game two he went 2-for-5 with a RBI and a home run. In the finale, he went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a sacrifice fly.
 
Ritter and the Shockers are back in action on Wednesday, May 2 at Kansas State and at home this weekend, May 4-6, against Cincinnati.
