Round One Results | Live Scoring

RIO VERDE, Ariz. - The Wichita State women's golf team is tied for seventh after one round of play in the Rio Verde Invitational with Taryn Torgerson leading the Shockers tied for second after day one. 

Torgerson carded a team best 1-over 73 through the first 18 holes, only two strokes behind tournament leader Jacinta Pikunas. 

Laine Evans is tied for 24th after shooting 77 with Michelle Ledermann tied for 41st with 79. 

Annika Chickering and Taylor BeDell round out the five person Shocker lineup in tied for 73rd and tied for 90th, respectively. 

Arkansas-Little Rock leads the field after the opening day with 305, Akron is second with 306 and Seton Hall rounds out the top three with 307. Wichita State is tied for seventh with 313. 

Round two will begin tomorrow with round three concluding the tournament on Sunday.
