Individual Leaderboard

RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. - The Wichita State men's golf team finished 11th as a team with Conrad Walcher finished tied for 28th individually at The Farms Invitational.

After windy conditions effected play on day one, day two continued to see the Shockers struggle with Adrien Michellod carding the lowest score of the five man team with a 7-over 79. 

Walcher finished in the highest individual position, tied for 28th, after strong opening round scores of 73 and 72, but a 8-over round three pushed him down the leaderboard.

Gage Ihrig was the only other Shocker to finish in the top-50 behind scores of 77, 74 and 83 to finish tied for 49th. Yannik Emmert carded an even par 72 in round two but shot his highest round of the tournament in round three to finish tied for 55th.

Michellod and Jacob Bishop rounded out the team, finishing tied for 61st and 72nd overall.

San Francisco finished a stroke clear of No. 25 Santa Clara and No. 21 UCLA to claim the team title with 871. Wichita State finished in 11th position at 930. 

The Shockers stay in California for the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate Friday Feb. 16 through Sunday Feb. 18. The three-day event will be held at the Classic Club, voted one of the top 10 best desert course in the United States.
