WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State senior guard Diamond Lockhart was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll after helping the Shockers collect wins over SMU and No. 23 USF this past week.

The Red Oak, Texas, native averaged 13.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in Wichita State's two victories.

Lockhart opened the week with 10 points, three rebounds and two assists on 4-of-6 shooting (2-2 three-pointers) in the dominating win over SMU. She followed that with a team-high tying 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in WSU's upset of No. 23 USF. Her eight rebounds set a new career high and the seven assists tied a career best. Lockhart has reached double-figures in scoring 12 times this season after doing it a combined eight times over the last two seasons.

This is the first honor roll nod for Lockhart, joining Rangie Bessard who has been named to the weekly honor twice and player of the week last week.
