FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Wichita State men's golf finished day one of the Ram Masters Invite tied for 16th with all five Shockers split by four strokes through the opening two rounds.

Senior Gage Ihrig leads the team with 148 overall after carding 73 and 75 in the first and second rounds. Ihrig finished the day tied for 57th on the individual leaderboard.

Both Conrad Walcher and Yannik Emmert ended round two tied for 62nd after ending with 149. Walcher shot 74 and 75 while Emmert finished at 71 and 78. 

Palmer Hays finished tied for 70th with 150, while Erik Angesten finished tied for 80th after carding 152 through the two rounds.

Competing individually, Kale Reynolds finished tied for 76th after finishing at 151. Reynolds shot a 76 and 75 in each of the rounds.

Tournament hosts Colorado State is the runaway leader heading into the final day after carding a tournament best 268 in round one, followed by 280 to finish with 548. UMKC is second with 562 while Wyoming rounds out the top three with 563. The Shockers are back tied for 16th after ending day one with 593. 

Round three will wrap up the tournament tomorrow with tee times beginning at 8:35 a.m. for the Shockers. Live scoring will be available at golfstat.com.
