WICHITA, Kan. – Former Wichita State volleyball All-American Emily Stockman will be competing for Team USA in the FIVB Long Beach Presidents Cup, an exhibition beach volleyball World Tour event that will feature the highest ranking U.S. versus international teams.
Sixteen teams, per gender, will battle it out July 12-16, in Long Beach, California. The tournament will air on ESPN Networks throughout.
In a season that hosts the FIVB World Championships (the biggest event for beach volleyball outside of the Olympics) and the World Tour Finals, the Long Beach Presidents Cup will bring that same intensity and level of play to U.S. soil. Olympians will stack the rosters on both the American and international sides. The tournament is broken down to ensure USA vs. international teams in the medal matches.
Stockman played for the Shockers from 2007-09 and was a two-time All-American.
