HARLINGEN, Texas. - Two Wichita State student-athletes completed first round action Saturday morning in Harlingen, Texas, at the USA F34 Futures event.
Junior
Andrea Caligiana, who competed unattached, went up against Chris Haworth and was defeated 6-0, 6-3. Haworth is ranked No. 1877 in ITF Rankings and formerly played for the Cowboys of Oklahoma State.
Murkel Dellien rolled against Crisanto Ramirez in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the second round of qualifying round Sunday. The sophomore from Santa Cruz, Bolivia is set to face Jonathan Chang, who ranks No. 1456 in ITF Rankings and played collegiately at Rice.

Haru Inoue had a bye in the first round and will face the winner of Kevin Lam and Michael Loyd in second round play. Inoue ranks No. 58 in ITA and 1116 in ITF.
