Summer Baseball Update #3 (July 8, 2016)
 
Alec Bohm-Wilmington (N.C.) Sharks
Alec Bohm was named to the Coastal Plain League All-Star team and will be the starter at third base on July 11. He will also compete in the home run derby on July 10. So far this season, he is hitting .298 with seven doubles, eight home runs, 34 RBI and three sacrifice flies. He leads the league in home runs and RBI.
 
Cody Tyler-Wilmington (N.C.) Sharks
Cody Tyler has made seven appearances this summer and is 3-0 with a 3.71 ERA. In 17 innings pitched, he has walked 10 and struck out 23.
 
Trey Vickers-Fayetteville (N.C.) SwampDogs
Trey Vickers has played in 26 games and is hitting .314 with 18 runs, 33 hits, four doubles, 10 RBI and four stolen bases. He just missed out on being named a Coastal Plain League All-Star as he was a member of the final vote.
 
Robby Evans-Mankato (Minn.) MoonDogs
Robby Evans has made six appearances with four starts this summer and is 2-0 with a 1.03 ERA. In 26 innings pitched, he has walked 10 with 13 strikeouts.
 
Codi Heuer-Altamonte Springs (Fla.) Boom
Codi Heuer was named to the Florida League All-Star team and will play in the game on July 9. This summer, he is 1-1 with a save and a 2.89 ERA in 10 appearances. In 18.2 innings pitched, he has walked four with 26 strikeouts.
 
Josh DeBacker-Winter Park (Fla.) Diamond Dawgs
Josh DeBacker has played in 19 games this summer and is hitting .269 with 14 runs, two doubles, 10 RBI, 11 walks and three stolen bases.
 
Gunnar Troutwine-Chatham (Mass.) Anglers
Gunnar Troutwine has played in 15 games this summer and is hitting .277 with nine runs, two doubles, one triple, six RBI and eight walks.
 
Connor Lungwitz-Anchorage (Alaska) Glacier Pilots
Connor Lungwitz has made five appearances with four starts this summer. He is 1-0 with a 2.28 ERA. In 27.2 innings pitched, he has two walks and 27 strikeouts.
