SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Wichita State men's golf team is in 11th place after the first two rounds of the UTSA/Oak Hills Invitational. The Shockers shot a 299 in the first round and a 306 in the second round for a total of 605, and are +37 over par.

Grant Bennett is tied for 11th place after shooting a 74 in the first round and 71 in the second round. Bennett is +3 over par.

Max Mason shot a 73 and a 78 in the first two rounds, placing him in a tie for 40th place. Mason is +9 over par.

Alec Heinen is tied for 51st place after shooting a 78 and a 75 in the first two rounds, and is +11 over par.

Yannick Emmert is tied for 65th place, having shot a 74 in the first round and an 82 in the second. Emmert is +14 over par.

Jacob Bishop shot a 79-83 on the day. Bishop is tied for 81st, and is +20 over par.

Gage Ihrig is competing as an individual. Ihrig is tied for 83rd after shooting an 85 in the first round and a 79 in the second round. Ihrig is +22 over par.

Last year's winner of the Invitational, Baylor, is tied for first place with Oklahoma. Both shot a 575 on the day.

The final round will be played tomorrow.
