Day Two Results

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. – The Wichita State women's golf team is in 10th place through day two of the University of Arkansas Little Rock Golf Classic after carding 306 as a team through the 18 holes.
 
Maria Alejandra Villalobos carded her best 18 holes of the fall 2016 season after finishing with 71. Villalobos ended the day tied for 13th individually with 148 through the two rounds, good for 5-over par.
 
Gavrilla Arya carded 77 in the second round to end day two tied for 32nd individually. Arya ended round two with 154 and 10-over par. 
 
Laine Evans improved on her round one score by a stroke to card 77 in round two. Evans carded 77 to finish with 155, tied for 38th and 11-over par.
 
Taryn Torgerson ended day two tied for 58th after carding 81 in the second round. Torgerson sits at 158 through the two rounds, good for 14-over par.
 
After carding 84 in round two, Samantha Stewart finished day two tied for 79th individually. Stewart shot 84 to finish with 164 through the two rounds.
 
Central Arkansas and UTEP are tied for first position after both finishing at 593. UMKC and North Texas are also tied in third place with 597. The Shockers sit 23 strokes behind the leaders back in 10th position with 616 collectively.
 
Day three brings the UALR Golf Classic to a close with all five Shockers teeing off at 8:30 a.m. for the final 18 holes.
