WICHITA, Kan. – With the return of the popular Shocker Sports Report and high-definition broadcasts of Wichita State baseball, men's and women's basketball, and volleyball, Cox Channel Kansas will continue its role as the television hub for Shocker Athletics in the 2015-16 school year.
On Friday, WSU and Cox announced a list of 14 men's basketball and three women's basketball games that will air on Cox Channel Kansas during the upcoming season. Baseball selections will be made in the near future.
Along with the Nov. 7 opener against Hawaii Pacific, eight conference and five non-conference men's games are scheduled to appear, including the Nov. 17 trip to Tulsa.
The women's lineup includes a marquee home date against Tennessee (Dec. 11) and key Missouri Valley Conference contests with Drake (Jan. 10) and Missouri State (Jan. 30).
Cox Channel Kansas televises the first of its three Shocker volleyball matches on Oct. 17 and will select its six baseball dates in the near future.
Weekly 30-minute episodes of the Shockers Sports Report air from Oct. 27 through the end of May, Tuesday nights at 9:30 p.m. (with rebroadcasts Wednesdays at 6 p.m. or anytime through the Cox On-Demand platform under Free Zone/Local Sports).
