Kelli Rappard will be in her 12th year with Wichita State University.
She was raised in Wichita and graduated from Southeast High School before moving on to cheer at Coffeyville Community College to compete and cheer sidelines. While at CCC she placed 7th (1998) and 5th (1999) at Universal Cheerleaders Association. After earning her Associates of Arts she went on to obtain her Bachelor’s in Education at Wichita State University and then her Master’s degree in School Leadership.
Rappard taught middle school and coached in Wichita for nine years before deciding to become a stay-at-home mom to two boys. Â
From 1998-2011 Rappard was an instructor for Universal Cheerleaders Association and had the opportunity to teach cheerleaders and coaches across the United States and overseas. She has been a judge at state, national and world cheerleading competitions. As the coach, she has lead the WSU cheer team to top 5 finishes in all the competitions that the team has competed.Â
